Learning about Angles

To develop the mathematical concept of angle, ask the children to stand in a line facing you.

Give commands such as β€˜right 90 degrees’. The children should follow this command by making a quarter turn right.

Repeat for 180, 270 and 360 degrees.

To extend the activity, use other amounts of degrees or ask a child to give the commands. The children will find the activity really enjoyable!

I used it as a starter activity for the ICT program Logo.
