Download this collection of high-quality images and use them as part of your Victorians topic!

You could:

• Print the pictures and add them to a classroom display board about the Victorians.
• Show them to your children and ask them to think of some related questions that they would like to find the answers to.
• Challenge your students to write a description of what they can see in each picture.
• Ask children to imagine they are one of the people shown in the pictures (where relevant) and then write about a day in their life.
• Ask students to create pictures or paintings to recreate some of the images.
• Show the images on a whole classroom display, or print them on smaller cards, and use them as a discussion prompt.
