A number of resources are available below for use when your children are learning about the Viking alphabet.
The letters are called ‘runes’ and they were carved into stones as a memorial to a person or a special event.
These resources include:
- Poster – Use this on a classroom display, or as a teaching tool during your History lessons.
- Code Sheet – Can your children solve the code sheet to work out the hidden words?
- Messages – Challenge your students to write their own words and phrases using the Viking symbols.
