The free fact cards below share information about Queen Elizabeth II. Use them with the children in your class with our suggested teaching ideas:
- Make a classroom display about the Queen (perhaps as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations) and add the cards to it. Add questions and encourage your students to find the answers on the fact cards.
- Display the PDF on a large display (e.g. an interactive whiteboard) and use them to teach your class about Elizabeth II.
- Print the cards and give them to children as a reference tool. Could they think of some comprehension questions related to the information on them?
- Ask your students to find additional facts about the Queen and record them on the blank template (available as part of the download). This could be a class or a homework activity.
If you found an effective way to use these cards in class, why not share it in the comments below for your fellow educators to see?
