The free resources below can be used to help children to learn about adverbs:
- Use the Adverbs Poster as part of a class display, or give children laminated copies to refer to during their writing.
- Use the poster as a teaching tool by showing it on a large display.
- Challenge children to make their own list of adverbs.
- Give children a random adverb from the printable list. Can they make a sentence that includes that adverb?
- Ask children what each of the adverbs means.
