Manners Chart

I had a very noisy class last year. I was puzzled about what to do with them. Then I tried the following activity, which worked really well.

The class was divided into two groups. I just wrote the names of the children, and then every week, I put stickers on the chart. If they behaved nicely, they got a big smiling face, and if they weren’t good, then they got a gloomy face. It was also mentioned on the chart for whom they got the gloomy face.

At the end of the month, I used to count the faces. The children who were in the winning team then received their own sticker.
