Do the children in your class ever ask questions that you can’t answer… because you don’t have time or you don’t know?! If so, make a ‘Wonder Wall’ display in your class and ask the children to add their questions to it! You can then ask them to find out the answers later… or research the answers together.
We have several resources that can be used to support a display like this, including:
- Two display banners – which one do you prefer?
- A set of display letters spelling out WONDER WALL in a fluffy font!
- Four images of children thinking and two thought bubbles, saying ‘I Wonder…’
- Two blank A4 thought bubbles and two smaller A4 thought bubbles. Children can write their questions on these and add them to the display!
