Creating pictures with fingerprints is easy. You need some paint, pens and your fingers! Coloured ink pads could also be used if you have any available.
To get started, just make a fingerprint on some paper. When it is dry, use a pen to add some details (e.g. eyes, legs, arms, wheels etc). What will you create?
Animals?
Vehicles?
… or something else?
You could also:
- Create a random assortment of fingerprints on the page and try to turn them all into pictures.
- Choose a ‘theme’ and create fingerprint pictures linked to that theme (e.g. birds, dinosaurs, transport, robots).
- Create patterns using different colours and sizes of fingerprints.
