During an outdoor play session with my nursery class, I pointed out how the cobwebs looked when it was frosty.

From this idea, the class did a creative activity, using black paper. PVA glue was drizzled over the page and icing sugar and glitter were sprinkled onto the paper, and the excess was shaken off.
It’s so simple but very effective and the children really enjoyed creating their own frosty spider web.
