The resource below contains a set of printable cards showing the names and images of a range of Science equipment. They could be used in a number of ways:
- Cut them all out and ask your children to match the pictures to the names.
- Use them on a Science display board in your classroom.
- Choose a card at random and ask a pupil to describe how it is used in a Science investigation.
- Look at the ‘image’ cards. What materials are they made from? How have they been made?
- Look at the ‘image’ cards. Do any of them show measurements? What units are shown?
- Put the ‘name’ cards into alphabetical order.
