Before you start, you need to discuss with the class what positive qualities we all have and write a brief list on the board to help with their ideas.
All children draw around their hands and write their names in the middle, including a picture if they want. The hands are cut out and passed around the whole class, with each child writing a positive quality about the named child on the hand.
The hands are then given back to their βownerβ, who can read and enjoy.
