The Giving Calendar

At Advent, try this novel calendar. I drew small window frames on the classroom window and numbered them randomly from 1 – 24. The spare ‘panes’ were painted with a snow effect.

The pupils take turns to add a picture each day and the class know by what space is left how many days it is till Christmas – we call it ‘a giving calendar’ as everyone contributes instead of taking a ‘reward’.
