Shield Template

Design a shield for a new superhero or a knight with this free printable template!

Your children could use this in a number of ways:

• Think of a new character and design a shield for them.
• Choose a character from a favourite story and make a shield that represents them.
• When you meet your class for the first time, ask them to decorate the shield with pictures and words that would help you learn more about them.
• Choose a person from the past and make a shield for the person.
• Look at the blank shield template and learn how shields have been used throughout history.
