The Commonwealth Posters

Download our free set of Commonwealth posters, with 12 pages of information about the Commonwealth. The information uses child-friendly language and appropriate images, so they are perfect for use in the classroom. You can use them with your class in some of the following ways:

• Display the PDF pages on a large display and use them as a teaching tool.
• Give children a copy of the pages and let them use them for reference. Can they use the information to create their own report about the Commonwealth?
• Challenge children to create their own posters about the Commonwealth.
• Ask your children to look at the questions included on the posters. Can they think of other questions that they would like to find out the answers to… and then research the correct answers?
• Ask your class to think about how the Commonwealth affects their lives.
• Can your pupils find out about the lives of children who live in another country in the Commonwealth?
