Toy Labels

A free set of 44 labels are available to download below. Each label shows a picture of a toy with the matching name. Here are some ideas for using them in the classroom:

  • Use them to decorate your 'Toys' displays.
  • Use the labels to organise the toys in your classroom!
  • Cut out and laminate the labels. Then ask children to choose a toy at random and describe how it is used.
  • Tell children that they have to give a gift to a friend for a birthday present. Ask them to choose one of the toy labels to show the toy that their friend would like them most.
  • Carry out a survey to find out what is the most popular toy from the ones available.
  • Let children choose a label at random and ask them to write a sentence / paragraph / story that includes the toy that they have chosen.
  • Choose a label at random and ask children to think of words to describe the toy on the label.
