Aboriginal Art Display

The students spent time learning about Australian Aboriginal art and artists. They learnt the specific technique used by artists from the central desert area, dot painting. Following their work on art paper I gave the students an opportunity to paint a story on our classroom door. It was very effective and totally engaging for the students. The idea came from a community called 'Yuendumu' in the Alice Springs area. Art can be expressed and shown anywhere.
