Sport Relief takes place on Friday 18th March 2016 and we have a HUGE collection of teaching and activity resources to help your children get involved.
The following resources are available to download below:
Nursery Activity Pack - Help your little ones to raise money in your nursery for Sport Relief, including lots of fun with Timmy from Timmy Time.
Primary Assembly - Champa is a ten-year-old girl who lives in a slum in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She spends four hours a day collecting rubbish from the streets with her younger brother to earn money for food. Watch her film and do the assembly with your pupils to learn about her life and how you can help. Explore the interactive story to help your pupils learn about Champa’s life and the challenges she faces.
Primary Event Poster - Use this handy editable poster to let everyone know the who, where, what, when of your Sport Relief event.
Primary Learning Poster - An estimated 4.7 million children in Bangladesh have to work to survive. Use this poster to raise awareness of the challenges they face and show that your school is fundraising to help them.
Primary Fundraising Pack - This fundraising pack is full of brilliant ideas and has all the resources you need to make Sport Relief a very special day.
Primary Learning Materials - More learning resources to make Sport Relief come to life in your classroom: Topic map (Key Stage 1), Topic map (Key Stage 2), Champa Learning Poster, Bangladesh infographic poster, 'Where your money goes' fact sheet, 50/50 Poster.
School Bunting - Download this handy bunting template to help decorate your Sport Relief event and budding fundraisers.
Song Lyrics - Use the catchy song "Step It Up For Sport Relief!" in your assemblies! It's the perfect way to get your school up, active and joining in the fundraising fun and games. Plus there’s a video so your class (and you) can learn the dance move. The backing track for this song is available on the Sport Relief site.
Secondary Assembly - Use the film (see the link included in PowerPoint) about Russell, a 13-year-old boy who lives on the streets of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Russell spends his days picking litter from the streets to earn money for food and his nights sleeping in doorways and on rooftops. This assembly will help your pupils compare their lives with those of others and understand the difference their fundraising makes.

Is there anywhere we can get the music for the song without the children singing in it?
