PE Games Plan Template
A handy Word document that contains a planning template which can be edited and customised to fit your own requirements.
Students are split into two equal teams. They get together in their teams and decide that the team as a whole is going to play 'rock', 'paper', or 'scissors'. They then “face off” at the centre line of a gym or field and on the count of three they play their rock, paper, or scissors.
Remember, paper beats rock, rock beats scissors, and scissors beats paper.
Whoever wins then chases the other team to the end line of the field or gym and catches as many people as they can on the way. Those that are caught now join the other team.
The game continues until all the players from one team are caught. This game is suitable for all ages.

nice idea , i will try my pe class with my 3rd grade students , this game can we play without equipments that is the special in this , thanks lot for the team of members working in that sites

I love this game idea... it combines two original games into one unique game! And I'm going to add on to it that if teams tie on rock, paper, and scissors, then both teams run to the opposite side end line trying not to get tagged AND also tag the opposite team. Offense and defense!I'm going to try teaching this game to my 7th grade peers. :D I hope it turns out well!

I used this with my Wednesday night Kids Club at church and all of the kids (grade K-5) LOVED it! Everyone across all the different age levels was involved and the game held their interest for quite some time.
