Children get into groups of 2 or 3 with a ball. Place the ball in the middle of the group
The teacher shouts commands to the children which they follow e.g. touch your head, touch your toes, jump on one foot etc.
As soon as the teacher shouts "ball", the children need to grab the ball as quick as they can. The person who gets the ball first wins.
This can be adapted by using your feet to drag the ball back on the command of "ball".

Will your children decide to be witches, goblins or gnomes in this enjoyable game?

Sounds like a good idea but there is potential for kids to bvump heads as they all reach down for the ball at the same time.

It is good. I would like to bring this game to play with my children, they might enjoy it. Thanks so much for the game.......Cambodia

To adapt the game, make sure the children in each group are far enough apart to reach the ball when lying on their belly. Then play the game and have the children drop onto their tummy before reaching out to get the ball. This takes away possible head bumps.

another object to use would be a cone, the reaction occurs when the educator blows the whistle, its called King of the cone

It depends on the age of the participants, but I should think that learning how to NOT bump your head by orienting yourself in space in relation to another person is half the point of this game.
