Estimation Number Lines
A set of number lines with arrows pointing to particular points. Children have to estimate the number at which the arrow is pointing.
Subject = Estimation.
The children bring their teddies to a shoe shop (made up in the home corner). They need to find a new pair of shoes for their teddy, but they need to guess whether their teddy needs big shoes, or little shoes.
As an extension you could measure the teddy's feet and find out what shoe size they would be.
