Harry Potter Wordsearch with Questions
Another Harry Potter themed wordsearch with questions.
Give each child an A4 plain piece of paper and ask them to fold it in half 3 times. When opened up this means they have 8 'boxes'.
In each box ask them to write the name of any famous person/cartoon character that the other children are likely to know.
Then ask them to carefully tear off each box - so they have 8 pieces of paper each containing a name. Fold each sheet in half and put them into a box/bucket.
Children then come up 1 at a time and have a minute to pull out a name from the bucket and try and get the class to guess who it is. For example 'Tony Blair' - children could simply say Prime Minister.
The winner of the game gets through the most names in a minute.
This is really good fun. A hint though - the teacher should do the timing!

Print a copy of one of these Smart Notebook slides, and ask a child to describe it.
