Use these amazing photos as part of your mountains topic! They’re perfect for your classroom display boards and to use in your Geography lessons. Try some of these related ideas:
- Challenge your children to find the mountains on a map. Could they plot all of the locations?
- Can your children find out more information about the mountains shown? Could they write a report about one (or more) of them?
- Find out the heights of the mountains on the posters and make a graph that compares them.
- Discuss the images shown on the posters. How are they similar / different?
- Plan a trip to one of the mountains. How far is the journey? How could you get there? What would you need to take?
- Use one of the photos as the setting for your own piece of fiction writing.
