Homework Checklist

This works well for an older class – not sure for the younger ones!

At the beginning of the year, I laminate their names and use them as a way to monitor homework. I make a colourful display titled simply Homework. When the children hand in their homework, they have to take their blu-tacked name down from the display – they get great satisfaction from this.

I can simply see who is still to hand in homework, and it gives them a great sense of responsibility.

It also fills an awkward section of the wall nicely!
