Well
Done!
Now,
let's remember those important searching tips, and discover a few more...
|

|

To
search for phrases, use speech marks.
For
example, searching for "chocolate cake" will give you
better results than searching for chocolate cake.
|
| 2 |

Use
the + sign to search for words which MUST appear in the results.
You must place the + sign directly in front of the important word
(e.g. +Africa).
|
| 3 |

Use
the - sign to search for pages which do NOT include a certain
word.
Again, you must place the - sign directly in front of the word
you don't want to search for (e.g. -City).
|

Spelling
is very important.
If
you don't spell a word properly when you are searching, you will
not get good searching results.
|
| 5 |

Use
lots of search words.
If
you use more words in a search, your results are likely to be
better. For example, searching for cars will give you lots of
results. However, searching for cars made by Ford from 1975 to
1980 will give you more accurate results.

Make
sure you choose your search words carefully.
If you are doing a topic on Viking boats, don't just search for
History, or Vikings. These search words will give you lots
more results. Using 'Viking boats' as search words will give
you more accurate results, and will speed up the searching
process.
