Science - Materials and their Properties

Grouping Materials:
  • Sorting Materials PDF File - A list of materials (in PDF) which children can cut out and sort according to each material's properties.
  • Materials Vocabulary PDF File - A set of vocabulary linked to the topic of materials which could be used for teaching or display purposes.
  • Solid, Liquid or Gas? PDF File - Children should decide if the materials in this list are solid, liquid or gas. This very useful PDF file also has a space for children to include the reason for their decision. Contributed by Paula Whysall.
