To help the children remember the sequence of the Easter story, I had the children fold a sheet of paper into three parts:
In the first part they wrote "Holy Thursday" at the top of the page, and at the bottom wrote, Jesus and the disciples ate at the Last Supper.
In the middle fold, they wrote "Good Friday" and at the bottom, wrote "Jesus was nailed to the cross."
On the third section, they wrote "Easter Sunday" at the top, and "Jesus rose from the dead" on the bottom.
After they wrote these, they were encouraged to draw what happened on each day in the appropriate space. After this activity, they seemed to be able to remember the days better.
