House Bingo
Topic: Time-Fillers
(This idea was contributed by Ashley Burgess)
Age Range: 5 to 11

House Bingo is a game that's great fun for all abilities. It uses a dice and pieces of card, nothing more.

Cut the card into six shapes in a house, i.e.:

  • triangle - roof
  • square - body
  • small squares - windows
  • rectangle - door
  • small rectangle - chimney
  • B shape - curtains
  • number these shapes from 1 to 6

Children take turns to roll the dice, and build their own house using the corresponding numbered part. The first one to build a full house, and shout Bingo, wins!
