Chinese Whispers

Age Range: 5 to 11
- Get all of your class round to the carpet and make them into a circle.
- Tell them that they have to be quiet.
- The teacher starts off by saying any sentence i.e. the teacher needs
a cup of tea!
- Get the children to whisper it to the person sitting next to them. They
then whisper what they just heard to the next person.
- This goes on continuously around the circle, until it reaches the person
who started.
- It's amazing how different the final phrase can be from the original!
