Exploring Books Together
Topic: Special Needs
(This idea was contributed by Syndia Claridge)
Age Range: 5 to 11

During quiet reading, special needs children and children who find reading difficult, all gather around the teacher.

The teacher can read something out to them, from a classroom book, and they can draw an illustration, to explain what has happened to the best of their ability and understanding.
