The Events of the Easter Story
Topic: Seasonal Ideas
(This idea was contributed by a visitor)
Age Range: 7 to 11

As an activity to end the study of the Easter story I had the class, on a long strip of paper, write Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

After a discussion about what happened on these days, they then went away and drew pictorial representations of the story. These strips of paper were then folded to make a palm cross and put on display for the Easter period.

The class really understood the order of events and what happened on the days.
