Look Up, Look Down
Topic: PSHE
(This idea was contributed by Richard Cripps)
Age Range: 5 to 11

This activity is good as a drama warm-up, or a PSHE circle game.

The class stand in a circle with their heads bowed. The teacher (or a child) commands "Look Up". When told to look up, pupils must look at someone else in the circle. If the person is looking back at them, then both are out - so they both sit down.

Then "Look Down" and "Look Up" again. This repeats until a few remain.

I add the rule that pupils should look at a different person each time to avoid repetition.
