Last term we had a friendship term!

All round the school were quotes related to be being a good friend (I always have quotes of a theme around school). We also discussed the recipe for a friend at assembly time and during circle times in class.

Simple nomination forms were made available: who was being nominated, why and by whom. From the masses I received I chose some for presentation at assemblies. Teachers made sure that there was a good reason on the form - not just 'because they are always there for me!'

Children loved the whole thing and a lot of good discussion came out.
