In the afternoon before the children leave for the day, I would give them each a small piece of paper that they would copy a name of a student (from a list of the students on the board) who had a good thought on that day.
Then they would tell everyone, for example: I liked the way Sam shared his truck with me.
This helps to reinforce positive relationships with their peers, and motivate them to be nicer the next day.
