Can you count to 20?
Topic: PSHE
(This idea was contributed by Craig)
Age Range: 5 to 11

An idea passed to me by a friend...

This game is designed to build teamwork and consideration for others. Stand a group of children in a circle (I normally split my class into 4 teams). The group of pupils must count to 20.

However they are not allowed to organise who says which number and if 2 people say the same number, the count must start again from 0.

At first, the pupils normally only get to 3 or 4, but soon learn to watch each other mouths and make eye contact!

Try it out and see!
