Sticker Club
Topic: Classroom Management
(This idea was contributed by a visitor)
Age Range: 5 to 11

At the beginning of the year, I make each of my students a sticker book.

I just put a cute picture on the front and label it "_______'s Sticker Book". I laminate them so that the children can take the stickers out of their books if they like.

The children earn small stickers by having their initials and a tick next to their name on the whiteboard. They stick these in their sticker books. Once they have earnt 5 stickers they have a free choice sticker from a display I have in my room. When they reach 10 and 15 they also receive a free choice sticker.

When they reach 20 they go to visit the principal for a special sticker. They LOVE doing this. The sticker book is something they can keep. They are very proud of them.
