Whilst on my teaching practice, I created an achievement chart called 'Stars in Our Eyes!'. It was very successful with the children.
I made a chart and put all the children's names on it. Every time the children completed a good piece of work, behaved well, used good manners, etc, they stamped a star next to their name. When they achieved 10 stars, they could use the lucky dip!
This consisted of a box with polystyrene pieces in and prizes wrapped up.
The children put their hand into the box and pulled out a prize. Every child worked hard and couldn't wait to win a prize!!
