Number Patterns
Look at the patterns below and fill in the missing gaps.

Now, find a partner to work with, and follow the instructions below.
1) Both of you should think of a number pattern (one each) - do not tell each other your patterns.
2) Write the first three numbers of this pattern into your Maths books.
3) When you have done this, swap books and try to work out the next five numbers in each other’s number patterns.
4) When you are both finished, swap books again and mark each other’s work. If one of you got the pattern wrong, the other person should show you the correct answer.
