Age Range: 7 to 11

This is a game/activity that helps with number pairs that total 100. It is best played in a group of 4.

The game uses the following resources:

Step 1. - the group spreads the cards on a table and they collaborate in matching the pairs of cards that total 100 e.g. 89 and 11, 51 and 49 etc.
Step 2. - the cards are shuffled and dealt out to the pupils.
Step 3. - the pupils examine their cards and can place on the table any pairs that total 100.
Step 4. - the player who was dealt Number 1 has the first "go" i.e. he/she choose a card and asks another if they have the "Match" e.g. "Tanya, do you have 30?" Tanya must pass the number over if she has it. If she does not have it then it is her turn to ask someone for a match to one of her cards.
Step 5. - when all the cards have been matched the player with most pairs is the winner.
