Making 3D shapes
Subject: Maths
(This idea was contributed by Michael Barton)
Age Range: 5 to 11

Have you ever wondered how to get students learning the various types of 3D shapes?

I got students to make them with paddle pop sticks and hot glue. I was able to paint them, hang the shape's name from it and hang the work from the ceiling.

It was a great lesson and made the classroom look better.
