• Talking Books - Use MS Publisher to make Talking Book web pages with animations and sound effects. Includes step-by-step instructions and examples of pages which have already been made by children.
• Creating Computer Games - Why not get your children to make their own computer games, using this guidance from someone who has already tried it?
• Make Your Own Postcards - Let your children use computers to make lots of great personalised postcards (real and electronic).
• Electronic Comics - Make a cool electronic comic which includes pictures, speech, sound effects, and turning pages.
• Interactive Stories - Write a story in which the reader can choose what happens next!
• Multimedia Presentation - An incredible Powerpoint presentation which demonstrates what can be done with the software (animations, text, effects, sounds, pictures etc). Contributed by Gary Walkington.
• Multimedia Presentations Review - A self-evaluation sheet for use by children who have completed the QCA Unit 6A, linked to multimedia presentations. Could also be used for peer evaluation.
• Manipulating Sound - Linda Street has contributed this worksheet (PDF) which can be used with the QCA ICT Unit 3B.
• Podcasting - Podcasting is an amazing way of allowing children to share their work and school experiences with an immense audience.
