Lets face it, history can be boring! Especially for younger kids, who might get lost in the facts. So why not, turn to creativity! Oh come on, I know you have it!
For whatever you are studying, there is a way to make it fun!
If you are studying the 1800s, have a pioneer day. Turn off all the lights - There was no electricity then! Use battery operated candles for light. Let them write on slates instead of paper. Plus, they will love it if they dress up!
Believe me, it's something the kids will keep in their minds, and I guarentee you that they will learn a lot better like that!
