Boudicca's Revolt
Subject: History
(This idea was contributed by Vanessa Hall)
Age Range: 7 to 11

These resources consist of the following:

After watching a video about Boudicca, Vanessa's class ordered the basic outline of events on the activity worksheet. They then used the description by Dio (on the same sheet) to draw Boudicca on the Wanted poster.

In the next lesson, they used the powerpoint presentation about Boudicca to give another dramatic description of events. Then, the children all tried to write her last speech. You could get some children to write Paullinus' speech to his soldiers before the last battle to make a contrast.
