In this collection of videos, three different presenters talk about the EDF Energy Awards, sharing ideas for how you can make your school greener.

These videos are hosted by Youtube, which has a wide range of videos available. Some of these are great for schools to use, but others are not appropriate.
At the end of these educational videos, links to other videos may appear. Teaching Ideas is only recommending the original videos shown. Please check the content of any videos before showing them to children.

Former Blue Peter presenter Gethin Jones talks about the ‘Better off by bike’ lesson:

Louis Smith (who became the first British gymnast to bring home an individual medal from the Olympic Games in 100 years) looks into rechargeable batteries:

Liz Johnson, who won gold in the 100m breaststroke at the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games, dives into the subject of bottled water.
