I use this game / warm up to help the children remember the countries in the British Isles. Label each corner or edge of room/ playground with the names of the countries - England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales. Ask the children to stand in the middle of the room/ playground. Call one of the countries. The children run to the part of the room/ playground labeled with that country.

If you want a bit more excitement/ challenge you could play to find the last person standing. The last person (or two) to reach the country called could sit out.

This game could also be played using other labels, e.g. topic related.
