Global Geography:

to remember the names of the countries in the British Isles,
but could be adapted for other topics too!

Use postcards to teach your class about different places around
the world. Includes seven activities which you can try, and ideas
for building up your own collection of postcards.
- Travelling Teddies -
Send your teddy around the world and let your children learn
some valuable Geography about real people and places.
- Global Pumpkins - Get your class to paint a pumpkin to teach them about global geography!
- Passports Please! - A fun assessment activity, to be used after work on immigration.

- Islands

Hold a meeting in your classroom to discuss whether to build
