Team Tag

I adapted this from a drama game and use it to review parts of the body. It can be adapted for other vocab as well, for example a question/answer dialogue.

Students form two teams. Each team has a 'base camp' and students take prisoners by tagging them, but they have to say and touch the right body part in the target language e.g. hand, arm, back (nothing inappropriate of course, I avoid 'head' with livelier children).

Prisoners are sent to the enemy camp, but they can be freed by a teammate if they manage to enter the enemy camp to tag them in the same way.

The team with the most prisoners wins. We play this outside of course, and it is very popular - they learn very fast!
