I have the children sit in a circle on the floor (or outside) and place a spinner with numbers on it in the center.

I start the game by spinning and naming the number the spinner points to. We then pass a ball around the circle counting up to that number. The person who ends up with the ball initiates the next spin.

It's simple and the kids love it!
