Duck, Duck, Goose
Subject: Foreign Languages
(This idea was contributed by Eve Harrison)
Age Range: 5 to 11

This game is played with the children sat in a circle. You start with one child walking around the outer edge saying Hello, Hello, then Goodbye or Please, Please then Thank you (in your chosen language).

Whoever the child taps on the head and says 'Goodbye' or 'Thank you' to has to get up and chase them around the circle.

The winner is the child who sits down first or the child who tags the other.

You might also want to use a Beanie baby so the children have something that they could see and feel to carry and tap on the head.
