When teaching children about verbs, nouns, adjectives, etc. I like to have each child think of a verb, a noun, or an adjective, etc. and I give them a piece of fabric. They paint on their word, along with a picture. Then I sew together a quilt of nouns, a quilt of verbs, a quilt of adjectives, etc. It really helps kids learn those basics!
When you have made your quilts, why not use them to decorate the classroom / school?
