This activity involves sequencing (i.e. putting into the correct order) a poem about the following two characters :

Archie (the alien) and Dale (the dog)

There are three available worksheets:

1) The correct version of the poem can be found here. This version has been put onto a table which should fit onto an A4 page. It should be read from left to right and top to bottom.

2) There is another correct version of the poem which is available here . This is in PDF format and includes pictures of Archie, Dale, and the other characters / events in the poem.

3) The mixed-up version of the poem (which can be printed and photocopied for the children to use) can be found here. As a start for the children, the first and last verses have been put at the beginning and end of the page (they are also in bold).
